Product information
FlexiForce® plus is an original combination of natural substances, based on the properties of its components, biological activity and specific mechanism of action, it is a means of improving the function of cartilage tissue and joints in the complex treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Hydrolyzed collagen, a type of collagen (collagen type II) that is completely broken down and additionally enters the bloodstream more easily. Type II collagen is a protein that forms the basis of cartilage, is produced by the cartilage matrix, and is necessary for the synthesis of connective and cartilage tissue. Type II collagen makes up 85-90% of the collagen in the articular cartilage, and 60% of the protein-protein content of the connective tissue. By forming fibers in the articular cartilage, it plays the role of a skeleton and gives strength to the cartilage. Prevents dehydration of cartilage and increases its elasticity. Cartilage resists the pressure and tension, protects the cartilage from damage, and ensures the normal functioning of the joints thanks to the type II collagen in its content. The amount of collagen produced in the body is not enough for people with increased body weight, athletes who face heavy loads during the day, and people suffering from diseases of the musculoskeletal system, therefore, bones become brittle, cartilage thins, and joints lose strength, flexibility and mobility. Collagen type II, which helps form cartilage in connective tissue, is very important for joint health and is also effective in treating age-related joint pain and various symptoms.
Chondroitin sulfate (XS) is a high-molecular mucopolysaccharide that affects the metabolism process in hyaline and fibrous cartilage tissue. It is the main component of cartilage proteoglycans, which together with collagen fibers make up the cartilage matrix. It inhibits specific enzymes (metalloproteinases, especially leukocyte elastase) that damage cartilage tissue, including lysosomal enzymes, and prevents cartilage tissue degradation (damage). It normalizes metabolism in hyaline tissue, reduces degenerative changes in cartilage surfaces of joints, accelerates tissue regeneration (restoration) processes, stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans by chondrocytes and restores the structural integrity of cartilage tissue. By eliminating inflammatory processes in the joints, it has a pain-relieving effect and reduces the need for NSAIDs. At the same time, it ensures the strength and flexibility of the vascular wall. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects are obtained as a result of the reduction of the release of inflammatory mediators and pain factors into the synovial fluid by the synoviocytes and macrophages of the synovial membrane, as well as the blockade of the secretion of leukotriene B4 and prostaglandin E2. XS prevents the accumulation of connective tissue, ensures its strength. It easily penetrates into the synovial fluid of the joints, regulates the generation of joint fluid, ensures normal lubrication of joint surfaces, reduces the intensity of pain, improves the mobility of damaged joints and the quality of life. After the end of the course of treatment, the effect of the therapeutic effect is maintained for a long time.
In addition, chondroitin sulfate is also involved in the formation of bone tissue. It improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism, slows down the resorption of bone tissue and reduces the loss of calcium, as a result inhibits the development of osteoporosis.
Hyaluronic acidis a natural substance present in cartilage tissue and synovial fluid. It collects and stores water on the joint surfaces by binding to itself, and ensures the viscosity of the synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the biological lubricant, it ensures the smoothness of the joints and prevents joint surfaces from being eaten by friction. As a buffer, it protects the joint surfaces from impact and supplies the cartilage with nutrients. It stimulates collagen synthesis, has a protective effect on chondrocytes (cartilage cells), ensures elasticity of cartilage, slows down the aging process and increases its durability.
Ginger extract (gingerol) has an anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, and also reduces swelling in the joints. Due to its strong analgesic properties, it significantly relieves muscle tension, joint and muscle pain, helps reduce morning stiffness in the joints, and increases mobility. Ginger has been found to be effective in treating inflammation and pain associated with osteoarthritis.
Piperine is an alkaloid that is the active ingredient in black pepper. Piperine has an anti-inflammatory and powerful analgesic effect by reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1b, TNF-α and PGE2) and increasing the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10). It improves blood supply to tissues and accelerates absorption of other components of the drug. It has antioxidant properties.
Coenzyme Q10 (ubixinon) is a vitamin-like substance that is naturally produced in all cells of the human body, participates in the synthesis of ATF, which is the main energy source of cells, regulates oxygen consumption and increases the effect of many enzymes. Being stored in the mitochondria, it supplies cells with energy and protects against oxidative damage and various diseases. It has strong antioxidant properties, improves the functioning of the immune system. CoQ10 is present in the body in sufficient quantity at a young age, but gradually its level in the body decreases and after the age of 30, ubiquinone deficiency occurs.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that reduces the synthesis of specific enzymes involved in collagen synthesis and damages cartilage.
