Composition
Active ingredients:10 ml of solution contains 5 mg naphazoline hydrochloride, 5 mg chlorpheniramine maleate.
Auxiliary substances:anhydrous disodium hydrophosphate, sodium dihydrophosphate monohydrate, cetrimide, disodium edetate, sodium chloride, water for injection.

pharmacological properties
Nazolid is a combined preparation with antihistamine and decongestant effects. Naphazoline hydrochloride constricts nasal mucosal arterioles by stimulating vascular alpha-adrenoceptors. This effect is fast and long-lasting. Naphazoline hydrochloride provides conditions for cleaning the passage and entrance parts of the nasopharyngeal pockets during the application of drains. Chlorpheniramine maleate contained in the Nazolid preparation weakens rhinorrhea by having an anticholinergic effect, and blocks H1-receptors in allergic rhinitis and
prevents sinusitis.
Instructions for use
- Allergic rhinitis of various origins
- Accompanied by acute cold, sinusitis, common cold and inflammation of mucous membranes
symptomatic treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases
- During inflammation of the middle ear and Eustachian tube
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, severe hypertension, ischemic heart disease, angle-closure glaucoma.
Special instructions and precautions
Like other nasal decongestants, high doses and long-term use may cause nasal congestion.
Interaction with other drugs
Like other drugs containing naphazoline, it can enhance the effect of MAO-inhibitors on arterial pressure.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Like other drugs containing naphazoline, it is used during pregnancy and lactation only under the supervision of a doctor.
Method of use and dosage
1-2 drops are instilled in the nose 4 times a day.
Nazolid can be prescribed to children over 6 years old and elderly patients.
