Product information
SYMBIOTIC+ kids is a synbiotic tool that regulates the balance and normal activity of the intestinal microflora, has an antagonistic effect against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, and also strengthens the body's resistance, based on the properties, biological activity and mechanism of action of the active components. The pharmacological effects of the drug are related to the probiotic properties of lactobacilli, yeast and prebiotic inulin.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) is a Gram-positive lactic acid bacterium. It is a probiotic for the treatment of stomach (H. Pylori) and intestinal infections, prevention and treatment of diarrhea. By excreting acetic acid and lactic acid, lactic acid bacteria create an acidic environment in the intestine, which has a destructive effect on pathogenic microorganisms, prevents the development of conditionally pathogenic microorganisms and creates optimal conditions for the action of digestive enzymes. Enzymes secreted by LGG bacteria are involved in the digestive process, improve digestion and assimilation of food. It synthesizes group B and K vitamins, amino acids in the intestine; improves calcium absorption. Prevents constipation, diarrhea and foam. Strengthens the immune system, has an anti-allergy effect.
Saccharomyces boulardii is a unicellular yeast of the genus Saccharomycetes. Saccharomyces boulardii has antimicrobial, antitoxic, antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory, immunological, restorative and antifungal properties. It has a high antimicrobial effect against many pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (Clostridium difficile, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida kruesei, Candida albicans, Candida pseudotropicalis, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli, Shigella dysentery, Yersinia enterocolitica, Entamoeba hystolitica, Lambliae). After ingestion, Saccharomyces boulardii settles in the large intestine and acts there for 3-5 days, and then it is excreted in the feces. There is a layer of mannose in the membrane of the yeast fungus, according to which each fungal cell unites dozens of pathogenic bacteria and expels them from the body. Saccharomices boulardii has many pharmacological properties: by increasing the amount of proteases, it neutralizes the toxins of Clostridium difficile and prevents them from penetrating the ciliated epithelium of the intestines; by increasing the synthesis of polyamines, it accelerates the maturation of enterocytes in the intestines and weakens the permeability of the mucous membrane; weakens the secretion of inflammatory mediators; stimulates the activity of phagocytes, increases the synthesis of IgA in the intestinal mucosa and strengthens local immunity. Saccharomyces boulardi shows high clinical efficiency in any infectious-inflammatory processes of intestines and shortens the treatment period.
Inulin is a polymer of D-fructose with no synthetic analog. Being a natural prebiotic, it helps to increase the population of normal intestinal microflora. Inulin is not affected by the acidic environment of the stomach, is not absorbed from the digestive tract, and is not fermented by intestinal microflora. It is partially broken down in the large intestine, where it is a food substrate for beneficial bacteria (bifidobacteria and lactobacilli) that make up the intestinal microflora, creating optimal conditions for their growth and development. When the unbroken part of inulin passes through the intestines, it stimulates the mobility of the intestinal wall, ensures the elimination of toxins, cleanses the body of waste products, indigestible food residues, and harmful cholesterol. Inulin also ensures absorption and assimilation of vitamins and minerals, strengthens the immune system.
